Parent support 2e Dalton

Starting October the 1st 2025, Suzanne Goubitz will be available for support to all 2e Dalton parents and caretakers. Every Wednesday morning between 08:30 and 09:00 a.m. she will host a walk-in consultation moment in her office at the first floor. She will be able to answer a short question immediately, but when needed an appointment can be made for a longer meeting. If Wednesday morning is not convenient for you, you can also reach Suzanne by sending an email to parentsupport@2edalton.nl

Suzanne will function as a link between family, the school and the surroundings, and support parents and children who have questions that are not directly concerning education. For example:

• Help by sorting out arrangements of the local government concerning financial support of your child with sport (e.g. swimming lessons), culture or school necessities;
• Help with the payment of the school trip/the parent school contribution with the “stadspas” your child may have;
• Help with understanding official documents from the (local)government and filling in forms
• Support in finding the right person within our school or people/organisations outside of our school when needed;
• Help for new arrivals in Amsterdam to find their way around the city (where to find a sport club, music lessons, a place to meet other children);
• Answering questions about school issues, for example, sport day, Dalton hour, festivities or manners & customs;
• Help with all other questions you can think of, but don’t know whom you could ask;

And, last but not least, you can always walk in to chat over a cup of tea or coffee to get something of your chest, or just for sociability….
